So'nggi yillarda ingliz tilini o'qitish va o'rganishda katta o'sish kuzatildi, buning sababi ingliz tili butun dunyo bo'ylab lingua francaga aylandi. Buning natijasida ingliz tilini o'rgatish tobora muhim ahamiyat kasb eta boshladi. O'tgan asrdan farqli o'laroq, zamonaviy sohada ko'plab o'qituvchilar tomonidan qo'llaniladigan grammatik tarjimadan ko'ra muloqotni o'rgatish muhimroqdir. Biroq, o'quvchilarning samarali muloqot qilishlari uchun ba'zi qiyinchiliklar mavjud. Bu holat tinglab tushunish, tushunmovchiliklar sabablari va real vaziyatlarda nomaqbul javoblar bo'yicha kichik miqyosli tadqiqotlarni o'z ichiga oladi va ba'zi mumkin bo'lgan yechimlarni taqdim etadi.
