THE ROLE OF ’FLIPPED CLASSROOM’ MODULE IN IMPROVING ORAL COMPETANCE: ‘SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS’ TECHNIQUE

The ‘Flipped classroom’ module is one of the most popular modern teaching methods today. So far, a number of researches have been conducted on the development of writing and reading competencies. However, there is little research on the application of this module among students of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. This article discusses the role of the 'Flipped classroom' module in the development of speaking competence of students of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and a small research paper. The ‘small group discussion’ method of speaking competence was chosen for the study.
