The article provides actual examples of paraphrasing and related events. Periphrasia is one of the stylistic means of ensuring the effectiveness and artistry of speech, it is a form of expressive expression of artistic expression in public speech, which gives the speech a sipirit of solemnity, originality, perevents unnecessary repetition. The analysis was carried out with examples of paraphrasing metaphors that appeared using the method of metaphor and semantics of semantic transfer. The coverage of the artistic, scientific and political aspects, the unique creation of innovations is explained by text examples, and the colorful use of peripheral expressions in the speech of communicators is based on the fact that the uzbek language has wide capabilities.
