FORMING SKILLS READING A NATIVE LANGUAGE IN INITIAL CLASSES

This article discusses reading skills in elementary grades based on PIRLS. The author reveals the concept of PIRLS, presents the results of the implementation of this module of students in elementary grades. Since modern people are increasingly involved in search and creative activities, and this is possible with various skills, the formation of which begins in elementary school. During this period, the child’s intellectual sphere is developing as actively as possible, the leading type of activity is changing, the need for self-expression is increasing.
