TRANSFORMATION METHOD AT TRANSLATION OF LITERARY TEXT

Abstract

The linguistic principle of translation, first, involves the reconstruction of the formal structure of the original. However, the proclamation of a linguistic principle as the main one can lead to excessive following in the translation of the original text - to a literal, linguistically accurate, but artistically weak translation, which would in itself be one of the varieties of formalism, when foreign language forms are accurately translated, stylization takes place according to the laws of a foreign language. In the syntax, transformation techniques are most often used in teaching a foreign language. For example, when explaining the constructions of active and passive voice, transformations in the native and the studied language are compared. The transformational method uses a linguistic experiment as the main research tool. The article analyzes the transformational method when translating a literary text on the material of English and Uzbek translations.
