ON LEXICAL CORRESPONDENCES BETWEEN TURKIC AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

This scientific article analyzes the process of formation and development of terminological units that have emerged in specific spheres of social life, with particular emphasis on religious terms in the Karakalpak language. In addition, scholarly views are presented regarding the close connection between the formation of religious terminology and the history of other Turkic languages. The etymological sources of religious terms in the Karakalpak language, their semantic development, and their place within the language system are examined using a comparative-historical approach. Furthermore, the significance of religious terms as a lexical layer in shaping linguistic richness and their inseparable relationship with cultural and spiritual factors are elucidated.
