THE FUNCTION OF LEXICAL UNITS IN THE LANGUAGE AND THEIR USE AS PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN ENGLISH ECONOMIC SPEECH

The problems of the formation and operation of special vocabulary systems that serve various areas of production continue to attract the attention of domestic and foreign linguists. The article provides for the identification of the features of the systematic organization of a business dictionary and the implementation of the main process of its development.

As a rule, system-semantic relations of terms, based on the unity of non-linguistic and linguistic factors, are coordinated with vocabulary tools, respectively.
The object of the article is the study of paradigmatic connections and relationships within the scope of the Business Dictionary.
The scientific novelty of the article is to show on the basis of many examples the presence of synonyms, antonyms, phraseological compounds, advanced polysemy in the business lexicon and show that the development of these phenomena is due to various reasons.
The purpose of the article is to identify the features of the systematic organization of a business dictionary and to understand the main process of its development.
The goal set in the work requires the solution of the following tasks:
- Determination of the concept of consistency in the business
- Identification of the peculiarities of paradigmatic organization, taking into account the separation of a business dictionary into terminological and professional layers, by identifying lexical-semantic links within lexical-thematic groups, separated on an extralinguistic, lexical-conceptual basis.
The theoretical significance of the work is determined by the fact that its conclusions and results can be used to further clarify certain provisions of lexicology on the laws of development of the general system of the national language.
The practical significance of the article is that the actual material of the article can be invaluable in the process of teaching English for special purposes of a translation nature.
