THE CONCEPT “CAT” IN THE ASPECT OF LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL INTERPETATION

Abstract

Zoonymic vocabulary has always been in the focus of attention of linguists, as it occupies a special place in the lexical fund of any language, as evidenced by the uncountable number of idioms and proverbs formed in the language, where the names of animals act as a keyword. This article is devoted to the linguoculturological interpretation of the concept “cat” in languages of different systems. It provides an overview of the scientific literature that is directly related to the development of the problem under study.
