Tizimli qizil yuguruk (TQY) – ichki a’zolarning avj olib boruvchi zararlanishi va uning natijasida hayot sifatining pasayishi hamda jiddiy oqibatlar bilan yakunlanuvchi immun-yallig‘lanish bilan kechuvchi revmatik kasallik hisoblanadi. Qator tadqiqotlarda, tizimli kasalliklarda hayot davomiyligining pasayishiga qon tomirlarning aterosklerotik shikastlanishlari sababli yuzaga keladigan kardiovaskulyar asoratlar ekanligi o‘z tasdig‘ini topgan.
