FEATURES OF LIPID METABOLISM DISORDERS IN PATIENTS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED COVID-19 AND ITS CORRECTION WITH ROZUVASTATIN (literature review)
Keywords:
dyslipidemia, rosuvastatin, COVID-19, lipid metabolism, metabolic processAbstract
The purpose of this overview scientific work is to analyze the clinical and pathogenetic mechanisms of lipid metabolism disorders in patients who have undergone COVID-19 and to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment with rozuvastatin. SARS-CoV-2 has a systemic effect on metabolic processes, including lipid metabolism, manifested by the development of dyslipidemia, which contributes to an increased cardiovascular risk. The article examines the mechanisms of these disorders, their relationship with post-COVID syndrome, and presents data on the positive effects of rosevastatin on lipid profile and inflammatory markers in such patients.
