The article discusses the features of the differential diagnosis of subacute thyroiditis and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. The key differences in the clinical picture, laboratory parameters, ultrasound and morphological examination data are described. Special attention is paid to diagnostic difficulties, as well as therapeutic approaches depending on the form of the disease. The article is based on current data from modern literature and is aimed at endocrinologists, ultrasound diagnostics doctors and clinical researchers.
