GENERAL AND COMPARATIVE INDICATORS OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS WHO UNDERWENT KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

The management of patients after kidney transplantation is a difficult task. The quality of life related to health (QOL) is a criterion reflecting the level of adaptation of a person to the disease and the possibility of his return to normal functioning. Currently, researchers have not come to uniform conclusions about QOL in patients with a transplanted kidney and the difference with similar indicators of patients undergoing programmed hemodialysis, as well as a healthy population. Therefore, the issue of studying QOL and rehabilitation of patients after kidney transplantation is still relevant, in comparison with patients on dialysis renal replacement therapy (RRT).
78 patients from among the recipients of a kidney transplant (KTR) who agreed to conduct a quality of life study were examined. The study was conducted in an online format. The control group consisted of 65 people on programmed hemodialysis.
Comparing the parameters of QOL in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), depending on the type of RRT, in our study revealed a higher self-assessment of QOL parameters for most indicators of physical and mental health components, as well as for the integrated indicator of general physical health (PH_gen) in the KTR group compared with patients on PD.
