THEORETICAL AND CONCEPTUAL ASPECTS OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF SOCIAL WORK FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL PROTECTION

This article theoretically and empirically examines the concept of social work, the concept of its origin and development, its place and role in human life as a profession, areas of activity, specific functions based on client problems. The historical development of social work is determined by periods, theoretical foundations of its development from ancient times to the present, the experience of world practice of its development, as well as the classification of scientific views of scientists in the field of professional activity. activity. Separately, it should be noted that the article explains the importance of the professional ethical code of the profession of a social worker in the provision of social services, conclusions are made about the importance of social work in the development of professional activity in the new system of social protection of Uzbekistan.
