THE ROLE OF NATIONAL VALUES AND THE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION IN THE FORMATION OF STRONG FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

Abstract

In this article, contemporary challenges of strengthening the family as a key institution of social development are examined. Special attention is devoted to the preservation of national values and traditions under the conditions of intensifying socio-cultural transformations. The author analyzes the results of a sociological survey aimed at identifying factors that negatively affect the stability of family relations, and formulates recommendations for addressing these issues. It is emphasized that the spread of dysfunctional family models, the increasing number of divorces, and the escalation of family conflicts and crises lead to significant socio-economic losses and hinder sustainable social development. The article presents and interprets statistical data reflecting the scale of violence, discrimination, and violations of the rights of family members, which makes it possible to reasonably determine the risks and threats to the family institution as a whole. The study highlights the necessity of a systematic approach to strengthening family relations and developing effective measures of social support.
