This article provides an analysis of the play "The Scarlet Flower or Beauty and the Beast" staged at the Uzbek National Puppet Theater, talks about the role of world fairy tales in the Uzbek puppet theater, dramaturgy, scenography of the play, the development of puppets and the acting. The effect of the directorʼs use of modern technical capabilities is discussed.
