Abstract

Good and evil have long been central themes in various fields of study, with their philosophical, moral, and psychological dimensions explored by scholars throughout history. This article looks at how good and evil are portrayed in Uzbek folk tales, focusing on the unique traits of Uzbek national identity and mentality. It also explores the distinctive ways in which the Uzbek people use logical reasoning and the key moral values that shape their understanding and justification of actions.
