INTERTEXTUALITY IN WORLD LITERATURE AND THE ARTISTIC HERITAGE OF THE JADIDS

This scientific and analytical article is dedicated to the analysis of the phenomenon of intertextuality, which is considered the key factor ensuring the organic connection between literary texts and literary continuity. The work investigates the manifestation of this phenomenon using the example of the creative works of the representatives of Jadid literature. In the article, canonical literary examples – Fitrat's main dramatic work (“Abulfayzkhon”) and Qodiriy's novels “Oʻtkan kunlar” (Days Gone By) and “Mehrobdan chayon” (The Scorpion from the Altar) – are comparatively studied with certain masterpieces of the global literary process (“Macbeth”, “The Charterhouse of Parma”) in terms of their ideological, philosophical, and stylistic aspects. The results of the analysis reveal the place of Jadid literature within the context of world literature and its universal conceptual content.
