The current state of the Institute of Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, its essence and efficiency issues were discussed. A parliamentary request is an official request sent by deputies to state bodies, economic management bodies, and is used to ensure the rights and legal interests of voters. According to the data, the efficiency of parliamentary polls every year often does not give the expected effect in achieving positive results, responses to polls are not returned in time and in full. These circumstances are related to, among other things, the weakness of parliamentary control, lack of freedom of deputies and lack of financial independence. Based on foreign experiences, a number of measures have been proposed to effectively implement the parliamentary poll and improve the effectiveness of parliamentary control.
