ON THE PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF DOUBLE GALAXIES

In this work, based on a study of existing catalogs of double galaxies and modern observational data, a consolidated catalog of them, consisting of 613 pairs of objects, was created. A statistical analysis was carried out: the angular and linear distances between pairs were calculated, the total and individual masses of the galaxies were estimated, histograms were constructed, and correlation coefficients were calculated.
