ON RELIGIOUS AND POLITICAL AND STATE ACTIVITIES OF AKHMAT-KHAJI KADYROV

The publication analyzes the religious and political activities of Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov, which played a key role in achieving peace with Russia and interethnic harmony within the Chechen people in the second half of the 90s and early 2000s. It reveals his religious activity as a Muslim preacher, based on knowledge of the ethnic culture of the Chechens, the peoples of the North Caucasus, who received a spiritual education in Uzbekistan (at the Mir Arab madrasah and at the Tashkent Islamic Institute). Establishing the reasons for his transition from religious activity to political practice aimed at overcoming the military conflict between Grozny and Moscow, reaching an agreement in the intra-Chechen society, in which two opposite trends emerged, associated with the activities of supporters of separatism and opponents of this political leader, and then the president Of the Chechen Republic, associated with ensuring the security of the civilian population, fighting against religious extremists and terrorists, restoring destroyed settlements in the Chechen Republic. A. Kh. Kadyrov is characterized as a purposeful and peacekeeping person who deeply realized the futility of the war between the Chechens and Russia.
