DIFFERENTIAL ANALYSIS OF THE PREVALENCE AND INTENSITY OF DENTAL CARIES IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF SAMARKAND REGION

The incidence of dental caries in children aged 3 to 6 years old attending preschool institutions in the Sagdiana and Karasuva massifs of Samarkand, as well as the Kushrabat and Urgut districts of the Samarkand region was analyzed. In the course of the study, a high incidence of dental caries was established: a) the highest prevalence of caries is observed among children of 5-6 years of age, the lowest - among children of three years; b) according to the structure of dental caries, damage to the molars predominates; c) medium caries predominates in the depth of the lesion. The revealed structure of the intensity index in this group of children determines their high need for dental care, as well as the need to develop and implement treatment and prevention programs for preschool children.
