Abstract

In the development of dental-jaw anomalies, dysarthria and dysphagia in spastic forms of cerebral palsy in children, an important role is played not only by neuromuscular imbalance, but also by functional insufficiency of local protective mechanisms that determine the immunological and microbiological state of the oral cavity. This study was conducted with the aim of improving the differential diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of dental-jaw, speech and pharyngeal disorders observed in spastic forms of cerebral palsy in children.
