Аннотация

Reconstruction of defects in the maxillofacial area in malignant tumors requires a specialist to master various methods of plastic closure of the defect. The surgeon has an extensive choice of plastic material in the form of regional and revascularized flaps.

Currently, among the methods of reconstruction of tumor defects of the skin and soft tissues of the maxillofacial region, the most popular is the use of a revascularized fasciocutaneous forearm flap. The fasciocutaneous supraclavicular flap in its characteristics is an alternative to the above and other free grafts and does not require microsurgical skills and instruments. In our country, this method was first used by us. The article presents the experience of the authors.
