CLINICAL OBSERVATION OF A PATIENT WITH CONTINUED GROWTH OF MALIGNANT GLIOMA: A CLINICAL CASE AND ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL AND THERAPEUTIC ASPECTS
Keywords:
glioblastoma, prognostic factors, neuro-oncologyAbstract
Continued growth of malignant gliomas, particularly glioblastoma, remains one of the most challenging problems in modern neuro-oncology due to the high biological aggressiveness of the tumor, its infiltrative growth pattern, and the limited effectiveness of currently available treatment approaches. Despite the use of multimodal therapy, including surgical intervention, radiotherapy, and pharmacological treatment, the majority of patients develop disease progression, which is associated with deterioration of neurological status and an unfavorable prognosis. The presented clinical case demonstrates the diagnostic features, repeated surgical treatment, and subsequent management of a patient with continued growth of glioblastoma.
