Abstract

Cerebrovascular diseases remain one of the most pressing medical and social problems in many countries of the world, due to their high prevalence, severity of complications and mortality. In Uzbekistan, the number of patients with cerebral stroke is quite large - about 40-45 thousand cases of cerebral stroke are registered annually.

The aim of our study is to study the frequency, nature and variants of the clinical course depending on the gender and age of cognitive impairment in patients with ischemic stroke.

Thus, the identified cognitive deficit in quantitative and qualitative terms prevails in older patients and allows us to consider it as a predecession cognitive impairment. The severity of cognitive deficit in most cases occurred in females.
