Adolescence is characterized by intensive morphofunctional changes affecting all body systems, including the reproductive sphere. The formation of menstrual function in adolescent girls is a complex multifactorial process that can be accompanied by various disorders affecting the quality of life and further reproductive health. Menstrual dysfunctions during puberty represent a pressing medical and social problem affecting 30% to 75% of adolescent girls in various populations. These disorders not only reduce the quality of life of young women but can also serve as predictors of serious gynecological diseases in the reproductive age.
