This article analyzes the clinical efficacy of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in Parkinson’s disease. The study evaluates motor symptoms, quality of life, reduction in dopaminergic therapy requirements, and side effects in two groups: 30 patients who underwent DBS treatment at Medipol University Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, and 30 patients treated only with pharmacotherapy at Tashkent Medical Academy. The findings revealed that DBS significantly reduces motor symptoms, improves quality of life, decreases the need for medications, and may cause certain side effects in some cases.
