INTERPRETATIONS OF THE IMAGE OF AMIR TEMUR IN WORKS OF NAVOI AND ENGLISH WRITERS

In this article has been scientific studied of fiction which was written in English and Turkish literature about Amir Timur, one of the legendary figures who could change the map of the world, about the plays and stage works interpreting his historical personality as an artistic image. In addition, studied the quotes about the Timurids and Amir sahibkiron in the works of Alisher Navoi. Futhermore, comparatively studied the historical figure of Amir sahibkiran, which was given in these historical chronicles, with the image of Tamburlaine (Timur), created in English literature and drama. The article has compared the views on Timur and his artistic image by European Orientalist scholars to the evidence available in Turkish sources.
