INTERPRETATION AS NAVOI OF THE IMAGE OF "MIRROR" IN TASAVVUF LITERATURE

Abstract

The article provides a scientific analysis of the history of views on the poetic image of the mirror, which has long been used in mystical literature and has become important. In particular, the views of Ibn al-Arabi, Fariduddin Attar, Jalaliddin Rumi, Nizami Ganjavi, Khusrav Dehlavi, Khoja Muhammad Porso, Abdurahman Jami, Jafar Sajjadi on the interpretation of this symbol are summarized and conclusions on the essence of the mirror as tajalliy, mazhar (appearance, manifestation) are drawn. The author examines the compatibility of the mirror with its interpretations of mystical doctrine in the use of works of art in the example of Alisher Navai's epics. In particular, the epic "Farhad and Shirin" reveals the poet's ability to use the image of a mirror. The epic was written in imitation of "Khusrav and Shirin" according to some Western scholars, it is not so but in the contrary through a mirror image it proved to have a place in world literature as a masterfully created work with a completely new interpretation, a new plot and composition. The creation of the epic in the style of a mirror was first scientifically based.
