ANALYSIS OF SPEECH CULTURE TERMS IN THE WORKS OF ALISHER NAVOI

Abstract

In this article, we focused on the substantive analysis of the terms used in the works of the great linguist Alisher Navoi on speech culture. Alisher Navoi himself was a master of words, a great poet and one of the most talented philologists of his time. His interest in the issue of public speaking shows that he is the owner of extremely deep knowledge, that he improves his knowledge by studying various worldly sciences. In his works, Alisher Navoi uses the terms of sermon - "vaz", "voizlik", nadimlar, kissaguylar, masalguylar, badihaguylar, kiroathonlar, muammoguylar, voizlar, guyandalar, maddohlar effectively uses such terms as compliments.

Alisher Navoi draws special attention to the fact that the art of public speaking is a great force that can change a person. He calls the 24th chapter of his philosophical work "Mahbubul-Kulub" "In memory of the people of advice and preachers" and expresses his attitude to the art of preaching and oratory. Alisher Navoi's thoughts on preaching and the terms that he used in his works on oratory have not lost their educational meaning.
