LEGAL PROBLEMS CONCERNING THE MANDATORY MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF PEDAGOGICAL STAFF IN HIGHER EDUCATION ORGANIZATIONS

The article examines current legal issues related to the mandatory medical examination of teachers (professors) and other employees of higher educational organizations in our country. In particular, ambiguities and contradictions were identified in national legislation regarding the mandatory medical examination of teaching staff and other employees in higher educational institutions, types of medical examinations, determination of the duration of periodic medical examinations, financing of mandatory medical examinations, and other pressing issues. It is precisely for these reasons that the practice was formed differently, and the author's analytical views on them were expressed. From the point of view of caring for the social and material well-being and professional growth of teachers, it is necessary to clarify the approach of the legislator to the medical examination of professors and teachers in higher educational organizations, taking into account the legal policy and institutional foundations of the state, the goals and objectives of the medical examination.
