SOCIO-LEGAL AND OTHER CAUSES OF THE DEFORMATION OF THE JUDGE'S LEGAL CONSCIOUSNESS

This article explores the concept and content of a judge’s legal consciousness and the causes and manifestations of its deformation. The main goal of the study is to identify the social, psychological, institutional, and legal factors that contribute to the deformation of a judge’s professional legal awareness. The work analyzes the perspectives of legal scholars, psychologists, and sociologists, incorporating both national and international viewpoints. Case examples from judicial practice help to clarify the mechanisms of maintaining or distorting legal consciousness. The findings emphasize the need for effective preventive measures against the deformation of legal consciousness.
