ABSTRACT

This article explores frequency dictionaries, which are considered one of the primary types of dictionaries in lexicography. It illustrates the statistics of words used in the works of various authors and their role in the evolution and development of language. Additionally, the article delves into their significance in linguistics, the principles governing the construction of frequency dictionaries, and the creation of frequency dictionaries using computer programs in contemporary vocabulary. These dictionaries hold great importance for the development of a national language corpus.
