ABSTRACT

The article raises questions related to the problems of the new lexicographic science as a perspective direction in linguistics. In connection with the rapid development of the theory and practice of lexicography, dictionaries of such types as quotation, contrastive dictionaries of an educational orientation are analyzed, and issues related to the emergence of unusual dictionaries of the language of characters in works of fiction, films, computer games are also touched upon. The paper reveals some innovative approaches in dictionaries of a new type used in their compilation. The article focuses on the fact that there are changes in the approach to the quotation, which is considered from the standpoint of an independent unit of research, and not just as illustrative material. The author of this work believes that the considered types of modern dictionaries cope quite satisfactorily with the most important task related to filling in the gaps of the cultural plan. They help in the assimilation of both native and foreign languages. The article reveals innovative successful findings in the system of selection and demonstration of material, which contribute to the compact presentation of multi-level information.
