The transmission and artistic perception of information in a literary text, as well as the nominative units chosen by the author and the mechanisms of the impact of secondary nominative units on reality, are the main subjects of pragmalinguistics. In a literary text, the author seeks not to describe reality, but to demonstrate the skill, possibilities, and linguistic creativity of using language, which leads to the emergence of metaphors. Metaphors created on the basis of the similarity of form, sign, action, and situation, according to certain characteristics of similarity, open the way for pragmatic analysis, such as the author's assessment of the facts of the described reality, his attitude towards life events, and the intricacies of the psyche that occupies a certain position. These aspects are analyzed using the stories of Shukur Kholmirzaev as an example.
