FEATURES OF THE COURSE OF OBSTRUKTIVE BRONCHITIS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD
Keywords:
acute bronchitis, obstruction, airways, viruses, obstructive bronchitis in childrenAbstract
The course of obstructive bronchitis in early childhood is characterized by distinct clinical features, frequent incidence, and a risk of progression to chronic forms. Anatomical, physiological, and immunological characteristics of the respiratory tract in young children significantly influence the development of obstructive symptoms. The disease usually begins following a respiratory infection and is manifested by prolonged cough, shortness of breath, and wheezing. Timely diagnosis and treatment help mitigate disease progression and reduce the risk of chronic asthma development.
