THE ROLE OF DIGITAL RESOURCES AND TECHNOLOGIES IN INCREASING TOURISTS’ PURCHASING MOTIVES

Abstract

The article discusses the growth of digitization in the tourist industry. The authors highlight the motivations for tourist purchases that benefit from internet sources and technology. It is stated that digitization is a new method of communication between travel service suppliers and tourist service customers, and that it is becoming a source of competitive advantage for tourism organizations. The importance of expanding domestic tourism in the Republic as the most potential segment is highlighted. The relevance of digitization in tourism development is emphasized, as are the characteristics of the digital sources and technologies complex, as well as its aspects for visitor motivation. A qualitative assessment of Uzbek tourism components is provided. The research produced recommendations for how to take advantage of wide digitalization prospects for tourism growth in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
