EFFECTIVENESS OF USING MASS MEDIA IN ORDER TO DEVELOP MEDICAL TOURISM IN THE CONDITIONS OF NEW UZBEKISTAN

This article aims to show the role of mass media in the promotion and development of medical tourism in Uzbekistan. Tourism, as the world’s most powerful economic sector, has become a well-known and popular leisure activity, sharing bright memories all over the world. Tourism and mass media are closely related and important for promoting tourism, especially for medical tourism. Because the mass media is like an intermediary from the point of view of tourism policy, it performs the task of bringing society and tourism to a common denominator. The role of mass media is to mediate the process of delivering medical tourism products or services from producers to consumers.
