Abstract

This article provides information about event tourism and examines the impact of event tourism and technology on the development of tourism in the United Arab Emirates in the context of digitization.  The methods of attracting people to event tourism and making tourists interested in this type of tourism are analyzed and shown with examples.  The article examines the importance of event tourism in the tourism industry.  In addition, the changes that occurred as a result of digitization are listed in the example of the United Arab Emirates.
