REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH IN OBESE WOMEN OF CHILDBEARING AGE

The problem of obesity and fertility disorders is an important part of reproductive endocrinology. Infertility in obesity is considered through the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonads axis and metabolic disorders. At the same time, the pathogenesis of reproductive disorders and their hormonal basis have not been fully studied, and the data available on this subject are contradictory. The progressive increase in the number of patients with obesity, especially in females, accompanied by various reproductive disorders, determines the relevance of studying this problem. Moreover, obesity as a medical and social problem continues to be poorly understood.
