EFFICIENCY OF APPLICATION OF DOMESTIC HEMOSTATIC IMPLANT "HEMOBEN" IN SEVERELY BURNED PATIENTS

Abstract

Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of the domestic hemostatic implant "Hemoben" in severely burned patients.

Methods: based on the data of the regional branch of the RNCEMP in the period 2022-2023. In most cases, the cause of the injury was a flame (19 cases), burns with boiling water (8 cases), contact burns (3 cases) were also observed. The total area of the lesion in patients ranged from 5 to 20% of the body surface, and deep burns IIIb-IV degree up to 10%. All patients underwent early necrectomy to healthy tissues with the appearance of capillary bleeding with simultaneous autodermoplasty. Hemostasis was carried out with hemostatic powder from cellulose derivatives with the drug "Hemoben" 10 mg of powder 1 time per day for 3 days.

Results. Clinical assessment included the following criteria: the amount and nature of discharge; bleeding wounds; timing of epithelialization of donor sites, transplanted autodermal grafts; completeness of epithelialization; severity of wound pain. Surgical intervention in 30 patients with deep burns consisted of the use of the hemostatic drug Hemoben to stop bleeding after excision of necrotic skin and subcutaneous structures

Conclusion. Adequately carried out during the operation, local hemostatic therapy can prevent blood loss, thereby improving the results of treatment of this group of patients. In this regard, the use of a local hemostatic agent "Hemoben" is promising. The use of Hemoben allows early necrectomy with simultaneous or delayed autodermoplasty, there are opportunities to change the course of a burn disease and interrupt its course, the time to restore the integrity of the skin, the duration of inpatient treatment, the number of infectious complications and deaths are reduced.
