Abstract

Pediatric glaucoma is recognized as one of the most complex diseases in pediatric ophthalmology. This is especially true of her surgical treatment due to potential failure and complications. Lifelong regular follow-up every six months is necessary to monitor intraocular pressure and detect early any complications associated with surgery. Analysis of the literature showed that today there is no optimal technique for normalizing ophthalmotonus. The search for new methods of surgical treatment of congenital glaucoma remains relevant in pediatric ophthalmology.
