EFFICACY OF (GANOZHI PLUS) APPLICATION IN ADOLESCENTS FOLLOWING ORTHODONTIC BRACKET SYSTEM TREATMENT

The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of local application of the preparation "GANOZHI PLUS" on tooth enamel and dentin in children following the use of an orthodontic bracket system. A comparative clinical assessment of TER-test indices was performed in a cohort of 15 adolescent subjects. Accordingly, the patients were stratified into two groups: those with caries-resistant enamel and those with caries-susceptible enamel. The level of oral hygiene was evaluated in children aged 10 to 14 years, with no identified concomitant pathologies and who had undergone complete dental sanitation. The results demonstrated that 7 out of 15 adolescents exhibited a pale blue coloration upon the express test, which is indicative of high resistance of the teeth to secondary caries development
