Abstract

The article presents the results of a relatively modern literature in-depth analysis on the structure, chemical properties, as well as biological activity of this compound, which will allow the application of this valuable scientific data in the development of antibacterial, antitumor and other drugs. Moreover, the fundamental knowledge obtained in the field of studying gossypol can serve the development of the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients based on local plant raw materials, which is relevant today in our region.
