ETIOPATHOGENESIS, METHODS OF TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF FOOD ALLERGIES IN CHILDREN

Allergic diseases are a global public health problem. Among allergic diseases, food allergy is the most complex condition. Nutrition is a major factor determining the development and health status of a child. For normal development, children need a balanced diet containing sufficient proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. In children with food allergy, the main treatment is a strict elimination diet with the exclusion of causative foods from the diet, which can lead to the development of nutritional deficiency and deficiency states of varying severity
