Abstract

The study was conducted based on the analysis of 182 treated patients with severe acute pancreatitis. The use of minimally invasive interventions is more effective in the treatment of patients with aseptic severe acute pancreatitis compared with open surgery, which is manifested by a decrease in the frequency of deaths (6.2% and 17.2%, respectively). In infected pancreatic necrosis, the use of minimally invasive surgical interventions is also preferable – the death rate is 19.8%, while during open operations this figure was 26.5%.
