COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN MYOCARDIAL STRUCTURE DURING DEATH OF PREMATURE DICHORIAL DIAMNIOTIC TWINS

In order to conduct a comparative analysis of the morphological changes in the myocardial structures at the death of dichorial diamniotic twins, a macroscopic and microscopic study of the hearts of 24 (12 pairs) of twins was conducted. It was found that in one of the dichorial diamniotic twins, the heart size is small, and changes in the structures of the muscular layer of the heart occur more slowly in twins with a well-developed heart size.
