LEXICAL-SEMANTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ARABIC RANGES OF COGNATE WORDS RELATED TO THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

This article is focused on the study of Arabic ranges of cognate words by lexical and semantic point of view. Besides that we present the reasons of borrowing and its principles. Since, Islam religion was widely spread in Central Asia, Arabic language was considered as the language of science. Thus, primary Arabic borrowings referred to science and religion. All the ranges of cognate words were derived in their primary meanings. Later due to the widening and narrowing of the meaning, they underwent lexical-semantic changes. By morphological pint of view, the borrowings were formed from Arabic stems and compiled new words in Uzbek language by gaining different suffixes. The frequency of the Arabic words in the sphere of education was studied. These lexemes have semis and the Arabic words were used in connotative meanings. The article analyses Arabism, the development of lexical units and their use in new meanings and presents conclusions.
