Abstract

The article discusses colloquialisms and the role of colloquialisms in foreign language. Also, this article discusses the frequency usage of colloquialisms as one of the indicators of the level of language proficiency. The author offers a list of colloquialisms that can be included in the educational process when students master the foreign language. The article contains a short guide to using colloquialisms.
