When researching non-verbal means as an integral part of culture, it is necessary to pay attention to such factors as context, basis, and culture. In particular, the context plays an important role in order for the addressee to receive the information sent through non-verbal means correctly. This indicates that non-verbal means are subordinated to a certain pragmatic task in the speech process.
